When did you join ClickThrough?
September 14th 2020
What does your role at ClickThrough involve?
A lot of my role involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders. I also collaborate closely with our in-house SEO, DPM and CRO teams to ensure successful delivery of campaigns and tracking of results.
What's your background?
I spent the last six years living in Australia where I was lucky enough to work as a Marketing Account Manager for NewsCorp. In this role I was able to gain significant experience in developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional media for a variety of clients.
Prior to that I worked client-side as a general manager for an independent retail company. Here I was responsible for overseeing the marketing, buying and general running of four stores. This involved working closely with major brands such as Billabong, Ripcurl and Oakley.
What do you love about your role at ClickThrough?
I really enjoy the interaction with clients and getting the opportunity to witness their brand grow and succeed following a successful campaign.
What do you like about ClickThrough and its culture?
I love the company culture; the team genuinely care for both staff and clients alike, which creates positive outcomes all round. When a working environment is a happy one (like at ClickThrough) I find the team is generally more motivated and eager to achieve results.
If you hadn’t gone into marketing, what would your other career option be?
I would have probably gone into retail buying as it was an aspect of my previous role that I really enjoyed – especially in the clothing industry! I do find that I enjoy a career that challenges me yet allows me to be creative, so marketing was always more of a passion.
If you could trade places with any other person for a week, who would it be and why?
I would like to trade places with someone like Lorna Jane Clarkson, who founded Lorna Jane active wear. She took a pastime she loved doing, managed to spot a clear gap in the market, and in turn developed a product to fill it. Lorna went from selling her brand from her garage to owning a company with a net worth of $70 million. I think a week in her shoes would be really influential and it would be amazing to gain inside knowledge of running a business empire.
What do you do in your spare time?
I have twin daughters, so a lot of my spare time is now taken up running after toddlers! When I get chance, I enjoy spending time with friends or taking our dogs on long country walks. I love to travel, so we try to get away to somewhere new at least a couple of times a year.
We're delighted to welcome Aimee on board and know her knowledge and experience will be highly valued by our clients. Get in touch today to find out how our services could help your business today.
