SAY HELLO TO OWEN, OUR NEWEST CLICKTHROUGH STARTER

Hi everyone! My name is Owen and I am ClickThrough Marketing’s new Sales and Marketing Coordinator! I am so excited to get rolling in my role at ClickThrough and have been let loose to give you a little snippet into what I get up to here. Allow me this moment to outline who I am, where I have come from and overall, just get to know a little about me!

WHEN DID YOU JOIN CLICKTHROUGH?

I joined ClickThrough on the 7th June 2021.

WHAT DOES YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH INVOLVE?

As the sales and marketing coordinator, my role at ClickThrough will encompass several different parts. However, primarily my focus will be to analyse and develop upon the ClickThrough social media channels. I will be supporting the business by driving a wider reach and awareness of our brand through social media. I will also be supporting with blog posts and email campaigns.

WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND?

A recent graduate from the University of Worcester, I graduated right at the start of the lockdown process so maybe not the best timing! Since then, I have worked teaching English online as a TEFL teacher alongside my charity work. I am very excited to start here at ClickThrough and get to work!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH?

What I love most about my role at ClickThrough is having the ability to express my creative side and experiment different methods of engagement. This is something I am very much looking forward to, as well being able to learn from colleagues who are industry experts with vast amounts of experience.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT CLICKTHROUGH AND ITS CULTURE?

Of course, I am very new to the ClickThrough world, but it is great to see that it is filled with lots of positive and driven people who have made sure I feel welcome in this new group.

IF YOU HADN’T GONE INTO MARKETING, WHAT WOULD YOUR OTHER CAREER OPTION BE?

The most likely scenario would have been that I went into something such as coaching or teaching. I have always loved working with young people and helping them grow, this is a role I have done several times from coaching young children in football or as a team leader for NCS. Before joining ClickThrough I had a role as TEFL English teacher which is an amazing experience to have.

IF YOU COULD TRADE PLACES WITH ANY OTHER PERSON FOR A WEEK, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

This is a very difficult question, but I feel it would have to be someone such as Lewis Hamilton. I love travelling and I am a big fan of formula one so to have the experience of travelling the world and being able to race the world’s best in amazing places would be a rather amazing one-week holiday.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

I am a recent University graduate from the Black Country. I am Walsall FC fan (someone must be), love all kinds of sport, I like to explore new places and travel as well as watching far too much TV most likely. Overall, I like to try new things and have different experiences such as working at a summer camp in America for 3 months.
