Would you want to take down a dystopian regime? Well our new starter Charlotte Brindley would... join us as we find out even more about Charlotte!
We have more exciting news as we welcome Charlotte Brindley into the ClickThrough family. Charlotte will be joining us a Content Executive and we can not wait to see the great work heading our clients way! Join us as we learn a little more about Charlotte...
I started on 23rd August 2021.
My role is to deliver optimised and creative content/copy to clients that matches their strategies and tone of voice.
I graduated from York St John University in 2018 with a First-class degree in Creative Writing. Not knowing exactly what I wanted to do, I worked at a college as a Work Experience Officer before moving to a secondary school to work as an English Mentor in 2019. During the lockdowns, I wanted to flex my creative muscles more and so pursued a career that allowed me to revisit the skills I learned at university.
I really like the variety of clients that we work with and the creative freedom. I love the ideation meetings too where everyone gets together to discuss imaginative ideas for clients and springboard off one another.
Everyone is so friendly here and I really like the laid-back, chilled atmosphere. Everyone is so willing to answer any question, no matter how silly. The teams are very professional and hardworking, and everyone and every idea are valued.
As a bookworm, I would love to work with books so a career in Publishing would be ideal.
I admire Sandi Toksvig so much, she’s so intelligent and hilarious – if I had the chance to absorb some of her knowledge and wit, I would be blessed. In terms of fictional characters, I would love to be Katniss Everdeen so I could single-handedly take down a dystopian regime.
I'm a huge bookworm and usually spend most evenings and weekends with my head stuck in a book. I’m also a keen/obsessive gardener and my collection is slowly starting to consume my bedroom and other rooms in my house. The beach is my ideal place to be, but not the sunny, white-sand kind of beach: I prefer the good old-fashioned British weather beach, with grey clouds, light drizzle and unbelievably cold temperatures.
