Meta have announced ad platform updates for both Facebook and Instagram which focus on AI-driven optimisation, enhanced analytics integration and improved conversion attribution.
The updates are touted to arrive in the next few months, with the Google Analytics integration standing out as the biggest news for those in the industry, offering a slew of benefits - including a more holistic view of marketing efforts.

Google confirmed a large Google Search ranking bug was impacting a number of results in mid-August, which was - according to John Mueller - unrelated to the roll-out of the core update.
With the core update rolling out, rankings will naturally have been fluctuating throughout the month - so any big spikes around August 10th could be due to the bug. Anything later on is likely as a result of the update roll-out and could continue to change.
